First beginnings of our rustico

Nobody could date the picture, but it probably came from the 20s of the last century.

A part of our rustico can be seen in the red circle.

Cattle were kept around the rustico and agriculture was practiced on the now overgrown meadows up to the rocks.

 

The beginning of our story in Cima

Since the beginning of the 20th century, the current owners have spent a week's holiday on Lake Lugano every year. In 2015 they came across an offer for a holiday home in Valsolda, but it was far away from the lake. Shortly afterwards, the real estate agent contacted them with the offer of a holiday apartment in Cima near the lake. The notarization took place on the 50th birthday of the owner in January 2016.

 

The hidden paradise

In May 2018 when the current owner was looking for a used lawnmower, he was made aware by a neighbor of the property with rustico for sale and showed him around. That was love at first sight! After a long and intensive search for documents and additions to the land register entry, the notarization took place in October 2018.
