About us

We, Inga and Christian (German and Swiss), fulfilled our dream of a home for the 2nd stage of life on Lake Lugano with the purchase of the undeveloped property of around 6500m2 in 2018. The property was partially overgrown and covered with rubbish, access only possible via a pathway.

 

After long negotiations with the authorities, the neighbors for the purchase of land for the 250m long access road and the lockdown due to Covid19, construction work could finally begin at the end of June 2020. The move is planned for spring 2021.

 

At the same time, Christian cleared the property in every spare minute, partly with the help of neighbors and friends, put a 300m long and 2m high game fence to protect against wild boars and deer, laid 1000m irrigation, repaired walls, built stairs, felled trees and cut back. In addition, more than 50 plants and trees were newly planted. Since first of June we are living in the house, even a lot of workers are coming every day, we are doing progresses!
